Nucleon File Master

Support for multiple formats is provided by File Master, a file and document viewer offered for free by its developer, Nucleon Software. The application provides support for AutoCAD P&ID DCFX, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access, XML, Visual FoxPro, dBase, SQLite, EffiProz, IBM Lotus Notes, Paradox, CSV, Text and HTML Table files. Go get File Master and you will be able to open all these types of files.

Speaking about getting File Master, the installer is 12.4MB in size. Run it and a setup wizard will show up and guide you through the process of installing File Master on your Windows-powered machine – anything from Windows XP to Windows 8, 32 and 64-bit editions, of course.

The nice thing about the application’s interface, besides the fact that is quite easy to figure out, is the fact that it can be customized. Select Tools -> Options -> User Interface and you will be able to choose a style for the interface: Office 2003, Office 2007, and VS2005. Office 2007 style comes with a choice of colors: Blue, Vista Glass, Silver, or a custom color that you can pick yourself.

As previously mentioned, you can open a large variety of files with File Master. The data contained by those files can be visualized as a table, it can be exported, and it can be edited. And speaking about that, it must be mentioned that File Master comes with an intuitive SQL query editor to execute simple SQL query commands.
